XII GRUPO CUEVAS GOURMET CONTEST IN XANTAR

The deadline to participate in the XII Grupo Cuevas Gourmet Contest is open!

One more year, and with the collaboration of Expourense, we announce one of the most anticipated gourmet competitions of the XANTAR fair, the International Gastronomic Tourism Exhibition, which will take place between October 24 and 27 in Ourense.

The XII Grupo Cuevas Gourmet Competition focuses its bases on the history of Grupo Cuevas' identity, always looking for the best synergies between innovation and experience, modernity and tradition, entrepreneurship and solidity.

As every year, the contest's main objective is to promote local cuisine, focusing especially on the chestnut as the main product in each of the meals that know how to collect the tradition and innovation of Galician gastronomy.

In this edition, in addition to the traditional senior category, for professionals or amateurs, we include a great novelty: a new junior category, in which young chefs between 9 and 14 years old can also participate with their culinary creations. In both categories, the only requirement for the recipe is the use of at least one Cuevas y Cía product.
