GRUPO CUEVAS STRENGTHENS SUSTAINABILITY MEASURES

Grupo Cuevas contributes it grain of sand to energy saving and efficiency, implementing the measures established by the new Royal Decree Law 14/2022, of August 1, which regulates the temperature of the air conditioning, the door closing system or the turning off of lighting in shop windows, among others.

As of August 10, in our work centers in Ignacio de las Cuevas, the air temperature in the refrigerated rooms will be set at no less than 25º. Exception adopted after assessing two fundamental aspects of our activity, which are the environmental conditions of the workplace and the food safety of the products for sale.


To avoid energy waste, buildings and premises with access from the street will have an adequate door closing system, avoiding energy losses to the outside; and they must keep the lighting of signs and shop windows off after 10:00 p.m.
